Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) Faculty of Informatics invites students to participate in the Dr. J.P. Kazickas Students Programming Competition and try their best.
Dr. The J.P. Kazickas programming competition for schoolchildren nurtures deep traditions, so it receives many participants yearly. During the competitions, students test their knowledge of informatics, which will be needed when participating in the Olympiads or taking the high school graduation exams, and get to know the KTU Faculty of Informatics and its teachers.
Students who performed best in the final (national) programming competition will be given the right to participate in The Final Round of the Lithuanian Olympiad in Informatics without additional selection.
The competition will be held in two stages. In the first stage, KTU Faculty of Informatics, together with schools, will remotely organize the regional stage of the competition in Aukštaitija, Dzūkija, Suvalkija, Žemaitija, Kaunas, and Vilnius. The regional competition will take place on February 2nd in a mixed format.
We will wait for all the winners at the final competition, during which the awards will be presented. The second stage of Dr. J. P. Kazickas Students Programming Competition will be held on February 24th, when schoolchildren from all over Lithuania can participate. Participants will compete in programming competitions at the Faculty of Informatics.
Seminars for teachers will also be happening during the forum – registration for the workshops and their exact program will be published very soon on the competition website along with other event information.
