LT Game Jam 2016

On 29–31 January game development event LT Game Jam 2016 which is the largest event of this kind in the Baltic States is held in Lithuania. Since 2009 the contest has been traditionally held in Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).

LT Game Jam is the workshop of developing computer games as well as it is a part of the Global Game Jam. The event will be organised in three largest Lithuanian cities (Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda). This year, a group of lecturers from Faculty of Informatics at Kaunas University of Technology will also participate at the event together with school-children and students.

In the event, which has almost become a tradition, game development professionals and enthusiasts will organise themselves into teams and will be creating new computer and board games for 48 hours – starting with the idea and finishing with an already working prototype. A group of KTU lecturers, namely, Tomas Blažauskas, Rytis Maskeliūnas and Kęstutis Jankauskas, will compete with their current and future students.
