Taking into account the latest state market and consumer demands, the “SEMANTIKA 2” project addresses a number of relevant issues, namely: automatic analysis of normative and specialized written language, automatic mining of electronic texts from various sources and their management, extended documents’ search, application of language technologies in various areas (medicine, law, law enforcement, administration). The project goal is to be achieved through modernization and development of the Lithuanian language syntactic and semantic analysis information system (LKSSAIS), modernization of existing and development of new public services for the tasks of written language recognition and electronic texts’ mining from various sources, as well as development of electronic tools (IT solutions) that would be made available for the reuse to electronic services/products developers.
