Goal – to present the legendary flight across the Atlantic Ocean.
The game tells the story of two Lithuanian pilots – Steponas Darius and Stasys Girėnas. In 1933, they decided to fly across the Atlantic Ocean in a modified aircraft named “Lituanica.” They took off from New York but, tragically, met their fate just before reaching their final destination.
The game consists of 10 mini-games and 8 short historical video clips that connect the storyline and the mini-games. The video clips were taken from historical sources and pre-processed to improve their quality and adapt them to the game’s style. The game is designed for smart devices (smartphones, tablets) and works on Android and iOS platforms. The application also features an augmented reality section using a magnetic marker depicting the “Lituanica” airplane.
