Goal – to present the vehicles currently used by the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
The solution consists of 3 products: a virtual online tour, a virtual reality tour (Oculus platform), and a 3D shooting game designed for virtual reality (Oculus platform). In the virtual tour (for both web and VR), there is an armored personnel carrier M113, a helicopter, and a military aircraft (Spartan). High-quality panoramic images were created using stereoscopic photography, so that depth can be perceived when viewed in the VR program. The online virtual tour can be found here. The 3D VR game depicts a modern-day training session. The environment is modeled as a shared training shooting range. The player shoots from an M3 Browning machine gun mounted on the M113 armored vehicle. The game has been very successful; its mobility allows the museum to take it on various trips, and its appearance and the opportunity to compete for the highest score make it attractive to both young people and adults.
