All students from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Faculty of Informatics (IF) have the opportunity to select an academic mentor, using KTU Academic Information System (AIS) or attend lectures, organized by tutors.
An Academic Mentor assists students in the selection of subjects, advises on study activities and directs them to the appropriate lecturer if needed. They also assist in starting a research activity, writing articles, attending conferences and advise on related issues.
A Tutor is a student volunteer who helps to deepen the knowledge in a certain field and improve your academic skills.
The Faculty of Informatics currently has 24 academic mentors and provides consultations of Object-Oriented Programming, Mathematics, Theory of Probability and Statistics and Physics.
Have you decided to select your mentor? Log in to your KTU AIS and instantly select an academic mentor or check the schedule of tutors!
